About Christopher Diani, LCSW*, BCD*

I have experience working with children, with teenagers, and with adults. Clients come to see me with various goals, including: stress management, personal growth, addressing attachment problems, changing childhood behavior, parenting growth, depression and mood issues, recovery from posttraumatic stress, recovery from grief, improvements in family communication, relationship themes, issues of diversity, victims issues, and addiction recovery.

Family systems, object relations and cognitive behavioral theoretical approaches are integrated into my work. I have advanced training in Dyadic Developmental Therapy (attachment), and in play therapy including use of expressive arts and sand tray.  I also have training in Emotion Focused Therapy (an attachment based couples therapy).
